1. Shipping Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days. Orders are not processed, shipped, or delivered on weekends or public holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Our shipping charges depend heavily on the cumulative weight of the books you add to your cart. We charge a standard base courier rate for the first Kilogram, and an incremental fee for each additional Kilogram. The final amount strictly depends on your destination address and the total package weight.

Delivery Timeframe (Standard Courier): 2-5 Business days across Sri Lanka.

3. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

You will receive SMS or Email notifications updating you about your order status, including your tracking number(s) if applicable, once your order successfully ships.

4. Cash on Delivery (COD) Rules

We provide a reliable Cash on Delivery service for select products. In cases where extremely rare or highly-valued books do not support COD, the entire checkout process will adapt and strictly require secure prepayment via Card (Stripe).

5. Damages

SinhalaBook.com securely packages all products aiming to prevent transit damages. If you received your order in a damaged condition, please take photos of the packaging and items immediately and contact us at [email protected] to arrange an exchange.
